Harvest It All: How to Harvest Corn (and Tell a Pick Worked)
The two ways to pick corn in Harvest It All — the hand-pushed reaper cart on foot or the combine harvester — plus the signs that show a pick worked, from flying cobs to a cleared track.
Quick answer
You pick corn by pushing the hand-pushed reaper cart through the rows on foot, or by driving the combine harvester down the rows. A pick worked when cobs fly, the combine leaves a cleared dirt track behind it, and corn is added to your haul.
The two ways to pick corn
Harvest It All collects corn by picking ears — the game's First Pick badge, awarded for picking your very first ear of corn on Grandpa's farm, calls one picked ear the start of every big harvest. You have two ways to do it:
On foot: the hand-pushed reaper cart. Push the reaper/scythe cart straight into standing corn and keep it moving through the plants. Corn cobs fly up around the blade as the cart cuts through each row.
On wheels: the combine harvester. Climb into the driver's seat and steer the combine down the corn rows. Cobs fly into the machine's header as you drive, and a cleared dirt track opens behind you. The Tractor Time badge sums up the advantage: "You climbed aboard a farm machine and drove it across the field. Picking is faster on wheels!"
Both machines are covered in the tools and vehicles guide, and the Tractor Time badge above is the game's own word on which way is faster.
How to know a pick worked
Watch for these signs:
- Cobs fly. Around the cart's blade on foot, or into the combine's header from the driver's seat — flying corn means the plants are coming down.
- A cleared track opens behind the combine. Harvested rows leave a bare dirt and stubble strip, so you can see exactly which rows are done.
- Corn is added to your haul. Every corn plant you pick gives 1 corn by default, or 2 corn with the 2× Corn game pass.
- Badges confirm milestones. First Pick lands on your very first ear. Field Cleared lands when you have picked every last stalk and cleared a whole field.
From picked corn to coins
Collected corn is turned into coins by selling it at the grain station, and the 2× Coins game pass makes every sale there earn double. The how to sell corn guide covers the selling side.
Thinking bigger than one row? Picking every last stalk in a whole field earns the Field Cleared badge, and the how to finish the field guide walks through that job.
